Hello everybody!
I recently bought a brand new Ovation 1778TX, fascinated with the sound of it!!
Although I'm 53 y/o, I'm new to the guitar world, and I'm learning to play, just for fun!
Now interested in lowering the action. Read somewhere that some Ovation had some thin piece inside the bridge that can be removed for lower action. I don't know if mine has that option too.

If there are shims, they are under the bridge saddle. Just remove the strings, lift the saddle, and add or remove to taste.
