| Thanks for allowing me to join. I'm a retired rock/blues guitarist, and I'm on a quest to find the perfect couch guitar to noodle on, and to advance my skills - particularly in the jazz-bossa nova and finger style areas. Ovation just caught my eye as something to consider. I'm looking for a mellow sounding cutaway with a 1 3/4 nut. I cannot find any specs on Ovation guitar dimensions - bout size, neck length, nut width, etc. What about bowl sizes?. If anyone can recommend any Ovation models that might float my boat, please let me know. I do prefer a conventional look as far as sound hole. Cedar might also be more of what I'm seeking sound wise. |
