| I bought my first Ovation Celebrity in 2000. I loved Ovations ever since I saw them, and wanted to get one as soon as I could. I sadly sold that guitar a couple years later and had a long hiatus until I bought a used Custom Legend 1869 in 2019, just before the pandemic.
Now I have three Ovations with a fourth one ordered:
- Black Custom Legend 1869, shallow with OP-50 preamp and two outputs (quarter-inch jack and XLR)
- Black iDea
- Celebrity Limited edition 2023 (Australian Blackwood top)
- No idea about the model, it's missing the model label. I just ordered it. It's mid-depth, has a natural spruce top (with slight bear claw pattern), OCP-1K pickup and a VIP preamp. It was at a completely bargain price considering it's in almost perfect shape.
I have a couple of questions about Ovations, and I'll be happy to ask as soon as I'm approved. |
