So I'm looking into getting an ovation and quite make up my mind on which one.
My budget is only 600 AUD.
The two I'm presently looking at are:

Welcome aboard. As a general rule, most people here would suggest a "full" Ovation rather than a Celebrity. Having said that, it appears to me that the quality of Celebrities may be improving (often having solid tops rather than ply).

Location: Warren,Pa. | If those are your 2 choices, I would get the Elite. It has the deep contour bowl for a bigger sound than the mid bowl. The OpPro is a way better preamp...and the Elite has a solid spruce top. That Spalted Maple top is very nice to look at, but it's a laminated top.
Those 3 differences make the Elite a better guitar.
