Location: Phoenix AZ | I got around to putting some photos up on my website of the U681 12-string. This is an amazing instrument. I know the jury is split and some folks like the longer neck and cutaway and play all that 15th fret jangly stuff. But in my opinion there is something about a 12 fret 12 string that just feel "right". Dave |

Nice pictures.
I agree on the 12 fret, non cutaway, slothead 12 string.
I have a 1972 Pacemaker. The Adamas has got to sound like a Pacemaker on steroids. |

Location: Germany | Recently I was in the lucky position to compare the UTE-12 side-by-side to my Adamas 1688. Personally I prefer the 14-fret neck of the AI (hey, I need the higher frets at least once a year!). Speaking about the sound, IMHO the UTE-12 wins by a narrow margin. You won't get a better 12-string sound out there.

Location: Phoenix AZ | The "ideal" solution of course is to have both. That's why Moody's photo of his GC12 and 1688 is so impressive. Best of both worlds. Dave |

Location: Rego Park, NY, | This one would probably be my next guitar. I played Brad's 6 string Ute at the tour. The only problem with it is my bad playing will sound twice as bad.

It was definitely not on my wish list, while I do not play 12strings that often and already had a 12string Custom Legend.
But I will never regret that I got one - this is the best sounding, easiest to play 12string you can get - mixed with a textured top, slothead, deep bowl, 12 frets clear - what else are you asking for?
