Mini's from Ebay of unknown heritage.

I haven't heard these yet but thought they looked cool. Has anyone seen these before or know who makes them?

There are no ID marks or labels on them.

More than likely Chinese knockoffs. Biggest problem I have seen with their type is just an overall lack of gain.

Never seen any that look like those....maybe these will be the ones to buck the trend.

Let us know how they perform.

I think that they are a discontinued GFS pickup.

The brand is Artec, they're Korean. They're pretty good.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

PT maintains his seat at table #1 while the fast draw and sharp aim'n Aussie leaves yet another stark image in our minds, not soon forgotten!

Thanks all!

These are going into a Viper belonging to an OFCer. I rather like the idea that I can put them into the same PG as a stock pup.

No.

A while back Moody made a plea for a set of the Pup mounts for a Viper. I got to looking at the little plastic thingamawidget that mounted them in. The pickguard material drilled for the adjusting screws and adapted to the mini's pattern looks pretty secure.
Anything from the Seymour duncans to TV Jones will slip in now!

Very interesting. My next project is going to be a mahogany fender type body (either strat or tele) with humbuckers. Let us know how they sound.

Rick - Make it a Tele with a Powerbridge, Duncan Antiquity and a Viper in the neck position!

It's interesting to compare the Artec page that Paul pointed out to the GFS/Guitarfetish offerings on eBay. Looks like Artec is the supplier for the GFS stuff. I wonder if the pickups are actually made in Korea or if they're farmed out to China?

If you buy in the right numbers you can have stuff like this badged with whatever name you like. The stuff we buy from Artec is shipped from Korea, so from my experience of buying in bulk from the far east, that would suggest they manufacture in Korea.
