Well.......
Fox has always thought outside the box, give him points for that.
I will be down in NC at a clinic the end of July, I'm sure this Pettaway will be there. I think Dreamguitars is done out of his house. Will report later.

I'm more comfortable with "Rick" too.

'Randy' has a whole different connotation down here. ;)

This is supposed to give access to the higher frets. Sure is strange looking though.

Looks like it's approaching a negative break angle over the bridge, though.

Therre was a classical maker, Humphries I think, who made his neck joints like this. Called his guitar the Millenium and I recall Martin took a liscense on the design for a while but nothing came of it.

Yes, Martin classicals also have wedge shape body and raised fingerboard although not as dramatic as this one. I wonder how the hell you would ever do a neck reset on something like that? Anyway, very cool guitar.

In another forum where Brazilian Rosewood was being discussed, it was suggested that wood with darker, straighter and tighter lines was more preferable for tone, such as the stock used in the Tak EF75J models. Nonetheless, you can't beat the beauty of the book matched panels used on the backside of this guitar.

It is pretty but overall it's too weird.
