I'm interested in a history lesson if anyone has the lowdown on the GC Bluebird. |

Location: Appleton, WI | I'll look into that, however I do not beleive I'm able to post to any sections other than this one yet. I'm new to the OFC (I've owned Ovations for over 30 years. Both solidbodies and bowls but I just found this sight a week ago.
I'm the proud owner of a ViperIII, a Standered Balladear model 1861, a Legend model 1867, a Legend 12-sring model 1816 (which needs a little love to make it right again). I am also working with another new member to OFC, Ken Boyer. to build a "Tribute" GC Bluebird. I'm going to call it the Skybird. I say Tribute because I do not expect it to be nor do I want an
exact copy of Mr. Campbell's famous bird. There will never be another Glen Campbell. And the real Bluebird will always only be his. |

I believe there were several made, and if I remember correctly, there's at least one of the originals in the hand of a member here. There was also a member here that built a replica. |
