It is probably the best looking guitar I own, and it hasn't been forgotten due to the OFC guitar. This has been a good year and I've been blessed with some nice additions to the bandroom. I play about 8 to 10 hours a week, 4 to 6 outside the bandroom. The guitars I actually perform with are primarily the Tak EF75, the EA-68 Viper, and occasionally the 1581. I have taken the Koala to rehearsal several times, and plan to do the same with the OFC guitar. In time, I may use either of them in place of the Tak in performance, but need some hours on them first. Whatever I actually take to performance depends primarily upon the songs selected for that week. If they're bluesy and jazzy, I take the EA-68. If they want arpeggio picking, I take the Tak. If the leads are high up on the fretboard, I take something with a cutout. I use anything and everything while practicing in the bandroom. The guitar that seems to be getting lost in all this is the 1651 Legend Limited that I bought new in '81 and used exclusively for the next 20 years. I love that guitar and it is what brought me to this forum, but it hasn't seen daylight in three years. | ||
