We all know the Legend of the Wooden Roundback. A long time ago Jeff sent this guitar on a journey that has criss-crossed the country.
Where else but the OFC would have something like this happen?? Nowhere else because they don't have Jeff as a member.
I really don't know who is responsible for these gifts. I was just asked to make the presentation.

I think you can see the framed picture and the front of the T-shirt pretty well.
The back of the T-shirt has the cities the guitar has visited listed "tour style".
Very, very cool stuff and well deserved.

And I think I have the entire presentation on video.

What was the final "trip" count of cities and the order that they were "visited"?

If his route to the Lodge was any indication, Jeff hasn't returned yet either.

I did make it Home!!!! ... and I seemed to have developed and Englishman! I'll try some ointment...

I must say that I was caught completed off-gaurd by the WRB Tour recognition. The very red shade of my face is testament to that...

Jas' drawing is just toooooo perfect. It's beautiful. And it will look terrific above my guitars on the wall. The TeeShirt is great too... I'll have women falling at my feet, no doubt...

As for the originator of this idea, and his co-conspirators, I have little doubt I need look no farther than the locations on the back of the shirt where the WRB visited. I thank you all very, very much.

I do need to put out an ABP on the Goody-Bag of stuff that it accumulated on the tour. Though the guitar is now back in my possession, after 12 stops and even more people, the goody- bag that traveled with it and that was in the lobby with guitar seems to have disappeared!!!! I never did see what was in it.

Does anyone know what became of it?? Let me know, please. I was supposed to snap an End-Of-Tour picture and share it with everyone

How about a closeup up the Jas's drawing and the back of the shirt?

Not meaning to sound short & surly here... just practical.
But... Phil still does a hellava job documenting this thing. At past tours a good number members have spent precious "tour time" covering all the video angles and getting all the photos.
Personally, this year I decided to be "less busy" and enjoy the event without having to think of video or photos.
I think I was the only one with a video camera this year and I don't have a whole lot. I did video Paul Templemans seminar and that will surface sometime soon. I wish I had caught Amy's performace and any number of lobby songs but I was busy just enjoying them this time around.

You were 'busy' running around half-naked.

Don't forget to send me that tape of Temp, please. :D (when you're through with it)!

Here's the drawing. It's been around for a while. It's of JW receiving the WRB from the natives in Lapu Lapu. That's Magellan's head on the wall, as Lapu Lapu is the place he was killed.

Jeff - I have the bag (now box) of stuff. I meant to give it to you before I left on saturday. I'll send it out to you tomorrow... you're gonna have to pencil in Marlton, NJ on the shirt though, or no deal... just kidding. PM me your address if you wouldn't mind.

It was a pleasure to be the last stop and to hand it over to you in person... not to mention that I was scared sh*tless to ship it again as the case is getting kind of tattered.

Thanks again,

Mike
