I remember a simpler time...
a time before manifestos,
a time when most flare-ups around here usually ended with Bill reminding everyone involved that the only outcome of a pissing match is wet shoes.
I'll refer to that simpler time as "ED" (erstwhile dickhead).
The transition from ED to current day was a very painful process... and the growth pains sometimes still haunt us.
There was obvious pain and scarring to some of our members.
Even to this day, the scarring can cause pain when one of our members flexes... and as stupid animals sometimes do, we strike out at the closest thing.
We witnessed someone self-destruct and hurt most of the people around them. If your member was directly affected, you know of your experience firsthand. We each know of others' experiences second, third, and forth-hand.
Live and learn... patch things up and carry on.
I want to see Stephen posting again and I know Al will welcome him.
