Yesterday as I was sitting in the dining room visiting, I heard the sounds of a guitar and mandolin coming from the living room. Walked in and there sat my daughter and son-in-law playing the mandolin and guitar.

She has been taking guitar lessons for several months and wanted to surprise me for Christmas!

Was I ever surprised! So we jammed for about two hours. She is just getting started, but can chord in keys of G, D, C,.

She has a nylon string, but really liked my Epiphone 12 fret. My son-in-law really liked my Elite T.

Wish she did not live so far away.

Going to jam again tonight.
