I guess it's already over for our friends in Oz, it's still thanksgiving in Boise and where Temp lives it's still 1953. It's 5pm here in the cradle of civilization.

So taking the average I guess it's time to quote the original Tiny Tim and say "A Very Merry Christmas To Everyone"!

You're in Greece for the holidays?!? Does that mean you get to celebrate again on the Eastern Orthodox calendar?

Merry Christmas to The Empire.
...and the rest of the free world.

It seems like we went right from Thanksgiving to Christmas here at the edge of civilization. I just finished telling Miles' story to a former radar operator. Hope everyone has a peaceful Christmas.

Thanks, Chris. I don't know if Christmas will ever be as much fun as when the kids were little and we'd set up the video camera to capture them running down the hall looking to see what Santa brought. Then we'd tell them we forgot to start the camera and send them back to their rooms to reenact it. Not quite ready for grandkids yet, so maybe we'll get the old tapes out and play them for the adults.

Yes Mark it used to be great when the kids woke up early and rushed into your room - now with a 20yo you have to go and wake him and this was the first year he didn't leave food and drink (scotch) out for santa :(

An hour and 15 minutes to go, so, without further ado, Merry Christmas to all of you, wherever (and whenever) it's officially the 25th.

I didn't get myself a stringed-thing for Christmas (yet), but there may just still be hope for the celebration of Epiphany. Time will tell.......

It's just about done and dusted down here. Eating and drinking all day. Just got out of the pool and about to tuck into some leftovers and a bit more amber fluid. Kids have had a great day as have I and SWMBO. Hope it's the same for everyone else. Merry Christmas.

The day's almost done here and it's only been Christmas for 45 minutes in Hawaii.

Merry Christmas Randy.

There's no need to make that wish again
Because it's Christmas morn in Michigan.

No barbeque on the deck as in the past,
There's enough snow on the ground till spring to last.

The kids are all grown, our parenting complete,
There's no long the patter of small slippered feet.

So I'll choose a guitar and sit in the chair
And remember the days back when I had hair.
I'll pluck a few strings and look at the tree
And be grateful for my friends in the old OFC.

Merry Christmas
