Author: damon67 (Show all albums) In 1996 Ovation turned 30 years old. There was a “special” line built to commemorate the milestone which included not only the 6 string, but a 12 string, mandolin, mandocello, longneck, and a Viper. All were adorned with the same “bling”. The guitar was featured on the cover of Walter Carter’s “The History of the Ovation Guitar” and since then has been referred to commonly as, “The Book”.
